1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government affiliation. It does not store official criminal records, retrieve records, conduct official checks, or file documents for a user.

Its role is to identify the New Britain Police Records Bureau, Connecticut Superior Court, DESPP's State Police Bureau of Identification, CT DOC, and the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry, along with outside tools that may aid personal research.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked tool must not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. The Connecticut Sex Offender Registry expressly warns against harassment and misuse. Registry information is provided for public safety awareness, not vigilantism, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create background checks, credit reports, or other consumer reports. Our advertising partners and this site do not offer tools intended to screen applicants, assess rental applications, set insurance rates, or judge creditworthiness. Site or linked-tool data must not be used to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

If a check is needed for an FCRA-regulated purpose, use DESPP's State Police Bureau of Identification or an FCRA-compliant screening company.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is not legal advice. General information about New Britain records cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, erasure rule, or Clean Slate provision applies to a particular situation. Consult a licensed Connecticut attorney for that advice.
